After the study of classical guitar at the Conservatory of Trento (Italy) he has started the course of composition with M. Priori, N. Straffelini and took a degree achieving the highest grade with C. Scannavini, M. Pagotto and P. Furlani at the Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto (TV - Italy).

His great passion for composition led him since 1994 to write pieces for different instruments and ensembles, played in events and musical seasons in Italy and abroad (Japan, Canada, Brasil, U.K., Czech Republic, Belgium), receiving much praise both from audiences and critics.


He was awarded in many competitions. Among the others:

He has received commissions from important festivals: Teatro Donizetti di Bergamo, International competition for Orchestra conductors "A. Pedrotti", Società Filarmonica di Trento, Associazione Filarmonica di Rovereto, Stagione Concertistica degli "Incontri Musicali Narnesi", Museum of Contemporary Art of Torino, Festival Musica ‘900, Stagioni Musicali Meranesi, Festival Regionale di Musica Sacra di Trento, or groups like Asaka-Reimei Highschool Choir (Japan) and Contemporanea Ensemble (Brazil).

His Concerto da Camera for harpsichord and strings has been performed several times in Italy and abroad and it is admitted as contemporary piece in the final exam of the course of harpsichord at the italian Conservatories, while in 2005 “da una visione profetica (…)” for trumpet and orchestra has been objet of analysis in a Master at Illinois University (U.S.A).

Some of his compositions have been playes by the Nouvel Ensemble Modern, Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra della Fondazione “A. Toscanini” of Parma, Orchestra ICO della Magna Grecia, Arriaga Quartet, Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, Ars Trio of Roma, Duo Pepicelli and other important italian artists and moreover have been broadcasted by radios and national televisions (RAI).

His works have been published by Musical Editions Wicky of Milano Berben Editions of Ancona, E.E.M. Musical Edition, Harlock of Bolzano and DIMI Edition of Rome.

He has attended courses with Gavin Bryars, for movie soundtrack composition with Helmut Imig, Gunter A. Buchwald and at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena with Luis Bacalov where he was awarded the Diploma of Merit and a scholarship.

He now teaches musical culture at the Music - Dance High School of Trento; classical guitar, musical culture and choral singing at the “I Minipolifonici” Music school of Trento.
