Biography
After the study of classical guitar at the Conservatory of Trento (Italy) he has started the course of composition with M. Priori, N. Straffelini and terminated it with C. Scannavini, M. Pagotto and P. Furlani at the Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto (TV - Italy). Subsequently he obtained the postgraduate in composition for “Music and Visual Arts” with honors.
His great passion for composition led him since 1994 to write pieces played in events and musical seasons in Italy and abroad (U.K., Japan, Brasil, Canada, Belgium, Czech Republic, Spain, Portugal, ...), receiving much praise both from audiences and critics.
He was awarded in many competitions. Among the others:

He has received commissions from important festivals: Roman Philharmonic Academy, Donizetti Theatre of Bergamo, International Competition for Orchestra Conductors Pedrotti, Trento Philharmonic Society, Museum of contemporary art of Torino,MusicFestival‘900, (...) and its pieces has been objet of analysis on conservatories and universities in Italy and abroad.
Some of his compositions have been playes by Symphonic Orchestra of the “Toscanini” Foundation of Parma, JFutura Orchestra, Nouvel Ensemble Modern, Orchestra ICO of Magna Grecia, Asaka-Reimei Highschool Choir & Orchestra, Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra of Padova and Veneto, Ars Trio of Rome, Duo Pepicelli, Giovanni Sollima, Maurizio Dini Ciacci and other important italian artists and moreover have been broadcasted by radios and national televisions (RAI).
His works have been published by Musical Edition Wicky, Berben Editions of Ancona, E.E.M. Musical Edition, Harlock di Bolzano and DIMI Edition of Rome.
He has attended courses and workshop with Gavin Bryars and of movie soundtrack composition with Sergio Miceli, Helmut Imig, Gunter A. Buchwald and with Luis Bacalov at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena where he was awarded the Diploma of Merit and a scholarship.
During the last couple of years, thanks to meeting Valerio Murat, he has been dedicating himself also to photography and video editing, which he uses in close relation to music (acoustic and/or electronic), broadening the concept of composition to a intermedia experience.
In 2009 he received the "Demattè Award": recognition of the culture and career from his region.
He now teaches musical culture in Art Highschool and classical guitar, music analysis and choral singing at the “I Minipolifonici” Music school of Trento.
